About this site

What this site is

RunEntLinux (runentlinux.com) is run by community volunteers. Its goal is to provide practical, verifiable installation, upgrade, migration and operations guides for Chinese-speaking users. It covers several Enterprise Linux distributions and is not an official channel of any of them.

How it is maintained

The “Last updated” date at the bottom of each page comes from the Git history of that file.
Version, end-of-life and mirror data are kept in one data file and rendered into every page that uses them; status badges are re-evaluated on every build.

Content license

Unless noted otherwise, the documentation on this site is published under CC BY-SA 4.0: you may share and adapt it with attribution, under the same license. Commands and configuration examples may be used in your own environment without attribution.

Trademark notice

All distribution names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to refer to the software.

Product names are used only to identify the software being documented (nominative use). This site does not use any official logo as its site mark; the mark in the header is an original letter mark.
